Yesterday, I got a new update notice from Window-Eyes! It was one for the Windows Enhanced app. Because I had already known that it had to do with the END OF LIFE info that I already knew, I chose NOT TO INSTALL it. Instead, I changed the update setting in the combo box to DO NOT update and closed it out.
Anyway, I'll keep this Windows7 machine around until it dies, then, I'll put it to pasture with Window-Eyes and trust that they can both figure out a way to R I P -- Rest In Peace! A slow good bye to Windows and its associated screen reader(s); how I wish the relationship could continue, but if wishes were horses, I can only wonder how far along the path this beggar will ride!
