What I hope you can help me with is as follows.

Back in my previous computer life, I had made a desktop shortcut to adjust system volume option in the control panel. Now since bringing my 'puter home with a brand new installation of Windows Pro, I haven't been able to find a way to do that. I don't remember if I managed to do it using God Mode even back in Windows 8 days, but it seems that I was able to find a file or something that ran that particular option and therefore was able to send a shortcut to the desktop.

I don't really want the entire control panel, just the adjust system volume option.

One more thing while I'm add it. I may be a bit raddled by my recent crash experience, but it seems that I remember the control panel options as being shown in something other than links, as on a Web page. Is this correct? If so, could someone tell me the quickest way to change that particular display option?

I really would like to once again get my environment back to something I know and love.

Oh yeah, and about God Mode. I recall that someone was trying to use this mode in Windows 10 Creators Update, but couldn't actually get the text to show up on his screen. Did this issue ever get resolved? And also, how do you use God Mode, I mean what is the command to bring it up? It has been a long time since I even attempted using it.

Well, I know there is something I'm leaving out, but will post again when I think of it <smile>.

Thanks for reading, and sure hope someone can help,

Larry

_______________________________________________ Any views or opinions presented in this email are solely those of the author and do not necessarily represent those of Ai Squared.
