Hi, Peter. It sounds like your user folders are grouped by date. While in that folder view, press Alt-V for view and down arrow to the group by menu option. Press enter and a sub menu should open, giving you options like name, date, size, and maybe some other options. I'll bet the date option is checked. All you have to do is keep down arrowing to the none option and press Enter.
That should straighten things out. I would like some help from anyone who is still using Windows 8.1 and Window-Eyes. I was fooling around in one of my folders in my User folder and somehow I changed the way the subfolders are readout by my Window-Eyes 9.5.4. I have managed to get the supfolders back into list view as I like it but now Window-Eyes reads extraneous info such as "earlier this year" or "Last week". How do I stop W-E from reading that info? I am using Windows 8.1 with the free version of W-E. Help would be much appreciated. _______________________________________________ Any views or opinions presented in this email are solely those of the author and do not necessarily represent those of Ai Squared.
