I am finding that NVDA is meeting my needs better than Jaws. I say
this having been a Window Eyes user for over 20 years.

Thank you Net bat for the info. I went into the jaws control panel but
was unable to get the progress indicator to work. It is set to give
progress every 5 seconds. Even though it is set to do so it won't work.
