Hi,
I noticed this a while back and have given FS a site and steps to
reproduce it.
Lets hope they can fix it. I have them but don't use them anymore
because of it.

From day one, I've always plugged my tripletalk usb directly into a usb
port. I never had this problem with window eyes. It seems to be a jaws
issue.

Hi Russ,
I'm curious whether you have plugged your unit directly into a PC USB
port rather than a USB hub, powered or unpowered.
As for hubs, I always use those which come with their own power adaptor.
Hth,
Rod

Hi, There has been and still is an issue with some sound card and Window
that allow the drivers to drop out. I was told by a Microsoft person a
while
back that there are some know foucus issues in Windows. They are slowly
being corrected. You may go to the Manufacture website for you sound card
and make sure you have the most up-to-date sound drivers for your device.

I have the same problem you are having with your dectalk usb. I'm using a
tripletalk usb and It stops speaking after a few seconds when using
alt+down
arrow (the jaws say all command) on web pages or reading a html document.

Subject: DECtalk USB Question
Hi,
I just got my DECtalk USB synthesizer.
I've noticed 2 things going on with it.
First, when I use the say-all command on the weatherunderground web
page, it
reads for a while then stops, and I have to restart Jaws.
The second thing is that Jaws isn't keeping my changes to my voice profile
for the DECtalk USB.
Has anybody encountered these problems and if so, what did you do to solve
them.
Thanks,
Pastor Gil
