A couple of days back I contacted Mike from Access Solutions. He told me
that the vfo group has made it a top priority to fix the tripletalk and
dectalk issues in jaws 2018.

I hope so too. I'm using the TripleTalk Mini with Window-Eyes 9.5.4.0. I
would love to use it in JAWS when I install it after building a new
midtower that I'm gathering parts for. There is nothing like hardware
speech. I started out with the DoubleTalk card in Vocal-Eyes and used it
with Window-Eyes until I no longer had a computer with an ISA slot,
upgraded to TripleTalk PCI and used it until the driver became too old for
Window-Eyes 9.5.3, I think it was, and switched to the TripleTalk Mini. I
will really miss that speech if I can someday no longer use it.

I just listened to the FS cast for Jaws 2018. You can set verbosity levels
for what is spoken on the web. You can take a picture of a file and ocr it
with Jaws very impressed.
