Later in the day I did a check for updates and was able to update to the
fall update. I also updated jawsto beta 3 to work with edge.

I, too am using Windows Fall Creator's update with WE 9.5.4. I did a fresh
install with the iso file copied to a usb stick using the universal usb
installer from pendrivelinux.com.
As for the checking for updates, Microsoft is not updating everyone all at
once. It should happen over the next couple days. If anyone wants to
download an iso file, try this link for a 64-bit download--it'll work for
about 22 hours from now:
