Hi Mack,

I would say why not burn it to a DVD. Absolutely, yes.
Also, copy it to a flash drive a.k.a. pen drive.
Also, if you are subscribed to online backup resources like DropBox, OneDrive, 
and/or Google drive, copy it there too.
As for external drives, like USB drives and/or NAS (network area storage) 
drives, these are good too.
In short, copy it everywhere to cover yourself, as we should do for all our 
critical data.

maybe, instead of saving my copy of w/e 9.5 on a dvd i will purchase a 1 
or 2 t b external drive from amazon. i understand that the best ones to  
buy are seagate are western digital.
