In my experience, Norton has not been accessible for years. It came on my
last computer. Even though I never used it,it was on my machine as a trial.
I had to get sighted help to remove it because a captcha was involved. Some
antivirus programs are particularly hard to removed. With Norton, this is
true even if you use their removal tool.

I downloaded Norton Security with another program some time ago assuming I
would be able to get ridof it later. I don't use Norton Securitas I am
happy with Windows Essentials.Despite my best efforts I can't get rid of NS.
It irritates me no end with NS siting there. Can anyone suggest a method of
lgetting rid of NS. I have already tried several times to uninstall it from
Programs and Features.
