I would ask google about the site. These driver repositories range from being sponsored by developers and push other programs and utilities onto your system to flat out malware distributors. I know many of the manufacturer web sites are a pain. But I always battle through them to find the drivers. You should also be able to check for driver updates in Device manager. Often these are stripped down versions distributed by Microsoft or their own generic drivers. But at least they're safe.

Tom

Hello, I tried to find device drivers for my scanner on the canon web
page, but couldn't find what I was looking for. I did, however, find the
drivers on a page called, driverscape.com, has anyone heard of
driverscape.com, and is it safe? Thanks.
