The way to get that info with jaws. use the jaws say line command.

Whilst on this topic, I have just gone over to Jaws and one thing I don't
like about it is that when in Windows Explorer and arrowing down my list of
downloaded books, it no longer tells me how many items in the list and which
number in the list is selected.
Is there a way to adjust this?
