Hi Brendan, The option is yours, which you choose at the beginning of the installation. If you choose to keep your settings, that is, import as much of Windows 7 software as possible, it will analyze your system for incompatible software, and, if a piece of software passes the test, it will be available under Windows 10. If something must be uninstalled in order for Windows 10 to be installed, Windows 10 wil attempt to uninstall it. If Windows cannot do it, you will be notified, and the installation will not proceed until you remedy the situation.
