Thanks very much for this little nugget.

Best,

I'm using Word 2010, so can't confirm for 2007. In 2010 to move from group
to group in a ribbon tab, press control-left or right arrow. There were
Window-Eyes tutorials or "how Do I Do That?" articles that talked about Word
but a quick search through my files did not bring up information about
ribbon navigation. I have a memory, correct or not, smile, that in 2007,
you used shift-left and right arrows to move from group to group.
Information may still be on the Window-Eyes website.
HTH.

Hi Alison,

Yes, I've confirmed that what you say is true in Word in Office 365, but not
in Word 2010.
That was a convenient feature they added.

Thanks,

Rod

I am using MS Word 365 (is it?) and control tab does move through the groups
in a ribbon for me. So, firt press tab and then try control plus tab.

Alison

Hi Butch,

I always thought it was Ctrl-tab to move among the groups within a tab.
I have 2010 here, I tried it, but it doesn't do exactly that.
What it does do is move between the current item and the help search field
and back again.
Perhaps it does what you want in 2007.

Good luck,

Rod

Hello, In word 2007, I know that tab and shift tab will move from item to
item within a group on the ribbon, but I forgot the hotkey that will move
you from group to group, instead of having to tab through all the items in
one group to reach another group. If anyone knows the hotkey to move group
to group, please let me know. Thanks.

Butch
