Hello, WE Survivors - I committed a near-fatal system reset instead of system restore on my Win10 desktop computer. Sarah M at MS disability support helped me to get MS Office and Jaws back in operation. Tragically, regaining function with Window-Eyes has not been so easy. I installed WE 9.5.1 (or whatever the latest version is) as an electronic download. The last WE CD I have is version 5.4.
Anyone know how I can get WE back for my desktop? I have a netbook with the latest WE, Jaws, and Windows versions intact. Can I create a mobile version of WE from my netbook installation? If so, can you tell me how? I am progressing with Jaws and tasks I used to do effortlessly with WE. Jaws is not so nimble.. I would love to have WE back to handle some tasks that I have yet to figure out with Jaws. Any help or confirmation that my desktop WE capability is gone will be appreciated - and grieved, as the case may be.
