David,
NVDA has nowhere near the control and flexibility of Window-Eyes. You
can read the entire user's guide pretty quickly. It's the first option
in the help pulldown.
Unless I somehow missed it there's no control over the cursor keys.
Configuration profiles are the equivalent of set files.
