For what it's worth, I use MS outlook and iI have the same trouble. You are
right, it does slow things down. I have not had time to dig into it as yet.

Hello Everyone
Recently, WE is repeating email labels in Thunderbird. Sometimes it
will repeat an email title twice but somethines it says it three times.
This is very frustrating when cursoring down a list of emails because it
takes much longer to work through the list. Does anyone have any idea
why this might be happening?
