After seeing your message I looked on my Fusion 2018 and Fusion 2019 CD's and
Window Eyes was not on either. I was hoping that it was.

Hi Tom. Great points you bought up. However, something has puzzled me. I
have a friend who uses the JAWS version of Zoom text Fusion and I looked at
the contents of her CD and Window-Eyes is defenatly on the Zoomtext Fusion
  for JAWS CD.

  Sky,
What happened with Window-Eyes has nothing to do with who was the front
runner. GW merged with AI and had done an enormous amount of work to
integrate Window-Eyes with ZoomText to make transitioning from the
magnifier to a screen reader easier. Then FS walked in and offered a
pile of cash for the company. Those at the top fought it fiercely. But
the board saw dollar signs and said yes.
So, FS does own the code. They have no interest in it. And it will never
see the light of day. First, their egos won't let them show that
Window-Eyes features could make JAWS a better screen reader. And the way
the two screen readers are built is very different. The JAWS program is
just the critical core elements and it depends heavily on scripts for
every day functionality. Window-Eyes is the opposite; scripts are a
  convenient method to tweak things.
Two Window-Eyes developers are running the show at Microsoft for
Narrator. So I'm hoping one day it will be a great screen reader. If it
gets scripting it will certainly be a game changer.
  Regards,
  Tom
