did you try useing the emergency removal tool. this is an option from the w e
setup disk. but you should use another synthisizer to do this. it won't say
anything until the removal is complete. about 30 seconds.

some of this may just be cetting changes you need to make. my mouse still
speaks when moved over the text. so does the arrow keys. this is a desktop and
win10 and 7.
the mouse usually will not speak things like dialog boxes or pop up messages in
firefox.
it was doing this with win7 but win10 is worse.

look in the mouse settings turn off interuptability
in voice set it to instent this may be set to echo nothing.
and when mouse passes over a word this can be set to speak word or line etc.
i haven't found the option to make the arrow keys speak text on the screen
yet.

This happened occasionally in the past, but a reload of Window-Eyes 9.5.4
usually fixed it. However, now, it seems permanent. The mouse keys read
nothing. The corner keys read their function but nothing else. The arrow
keys read nothing at all-no text is spoken. Unless I can figure out how to
correct this, Window-Eyes 9.5.4 is rapidly becoming extinct.
