Okay, Nick. If this block of text did magically vanish from within the middle of the message, I agree. Regardless of the subject, a 27 line lecture for a signature lacks consideration for anyone trying to read a thread. It makes it very difficult, especially for those of us who can't visually skim over it. And it would not be allowed on most mailing lists.
Chester, I'm sure your zealous effort is done with good intention, however, you should consider the practical implications. An old friend of mine started doing this a year or so ago on a list we'd both been on for about the last twenty years. And when the moderators kindly asked him to stop, he stubbornly refused, leaving them no choice but to ban him from the list. And those moderators had absolutely no problem with reasonable contextual expressions of faith.
