No need to run any scripts: http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/index.php/Running_the_coastline_upload#Uploading.2FChecking_via_JOSM_without_using_a_script_.28new.21.29 Type in your coordinates and it'll give you a file you can load into JOSM and upload it....
