I think printing in Germany must be cheaper than here: I just did a number of quotes using both offset litho and instant print for 2,500 A4 sheets (they're 2 to a sheet) with no finishing, and typical quotes are about 260 - 280 pounds (about 400 Euros). It would be cheaper to do a UK one by getting it printed where you did and shipping it!
