the node is a simplified mapping method when an area is barely mapped. As soon a parking place gets created as an area, the node should get dropped. The doubled symbols appear on many other areas as well (e.g. sport=soccer). We would need to tag *many* areas as "Don't render a symbol on me". Let's better fix the renderers and data instead of adding ballast.
