During the recent Perugia Mapping Party, Cristiano Givando bought us a batch of [1] i-gotU GPS logger.
I tried to use them in Linux, but with no luck till now. I tried to add the USB ID to the pl2303 and to the ftdi_sio kernel modules, but I got a segmentation fault whenever a program tries to open the /dev/ttyUSB0 device. The i-gotU Desktop Windows program does not work in Wine. Also the device did not work into Qemu+Windows98 environment. I wrote to [2] Mobile Action Technology, asking for help.
