There is a source of data that might be helpful. http://www.ourairports.com/ contains information about most of the "official" airports in the world, plus some ones that are not documented.
I'm unsure of the type of license, however, if you contact the site owner, he will be glad to help you out. That said. I really think we should have some sort of disclaimer about using aeronautical information in the OSM to be used for reference only. And should not be used for actual navigation in the real world.
