This is a nice feature, however... If you download the gps point in the following bounding box: http://www.openstreetmap.org/index.html?mlat=51.47889867327745&mlon=4.960084220112989&zoom=16 Then set the max-line-length option. You'll see that not just the long segment disappears, but everything that comes after it in the track is gone.
