Hi, I am thinking about "mobile browser" a long time... and now I prepared som quick-n-dirty demo, with one zoomlevel only, with on th fly 256x256 tile cuting to 64x64 pixel subtiles and displaying them as 3x3 subtiles in one table, "subtiles" on edges has link like http://dev.openstreetmap.org/~ojw/Browse/
