This Sunday, four intrepid OSMers will be promoting OSM, and raising money for the British Heart Foundation, by cycling 54 miles in the annual London to Brighton bike ride.
We will be promoting OSM in two ways. First we will all be wearing our bright orange hi-vis OSM jackets. And secondly we'll be handing out leaflets to anyone who shows even the slightest bit of interest. As if cycling to Brighton was not enough, we are planning to survey and map all the remaining unmapped villages along the way. You can find out more about the event, which attracts 27,000 cyclists each year, here: http://www.bhf.org.uk/get_involved/take_part_in_our_events/bike_rides/london_to_brighton_bike_ride.aspx If you'd like to sponsor any of us there are links to our sponsorship pages here: http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/index.php/London_to_Brighton_Bike_Ride All money raised goes to the British Heart Foundation which is a very good cause. Our collective target is £1,000. So far we have reached £576.35 so we'd really appreciate it if anyone would like to sponsor us. Thank you. Etienne Blackadder Welshie Graham
