Nice. Have you seen http://www.duif.net/osmfoutje/ as well? It is a prototype with similar functionality. It adds, among others, an RSS feed and the possibility to 'subscribe' to an area you know well and receive updates on annotations within that area. I like that idea very much. Keep up with annotations in your neighborhood from within Google Reader or whichever you prefer. It might be a good idea to consolidate the various 'annotation' web application efforts - I believe there are more of the floating around - into one system we could one day roll out as part of the main site.
