With the Mapnik layer this morning highlighting residential-without-name (orange edges), not-in-map_features (yellow edges), and a big red circle around nodes-on-same-spot (based on stuff I spotted just in the Wolverhampton area), the ignore_test suggestion begins to look like the better solution. Otherwise you might want a not_in_map_features=true, nodes_on_same_spot=true and so on. It seems amongst other things that oneway=true has been used in many places where oneway=yes is what appears in map_features...
