I have to admit that it is impressive in many parts (but not as detailed as where I am currently mapping). However, we all know it ain't free as in freedom. So again here's my OSM love campaign. Calling all OSMer! Please join us in an online mapping party for Metro Manila Philippines. A couple of minutes (or hours or days) of your time editing using the Yahoo! imagery is most welcome. Using yahoo imagery, we want to complete a "first pass" edit to many areas in the metropolis (yahoo imagery in Metro Manila is pretty much dated by our guesstimate: 5 years old, but still very much useful). Before editing please consider the following: 1. choose an area where there is virtually no edits (this way we don't mess-up other contributions); 2. we have "mostly" completed major routes (motorway/truks/primary) so the remaining tags would be mostly residential areas; 3. add the tag highway=road.
