Flash seems to pick up the language from the LANG environment. So: LANG="lolcat.UTF-8" firefox works just fine for me. The other problem seems to be that potlatch is expecting a direct match on "pt-br", and it doesn't understand "pt_BR" So: LANG="pt-br.UTF-8" firefox works for potlatch, but obviously not for firefox. This can be part fixed by changing the name of the wiki page to use an underscore, but the script that pulls them in [1] needs fixing too as it normalises the languages to lowercase, which for regional variations is wrong.
