Will they? I always thought that in the future, what I contribute to OSM is not a database, and OSM is not a database aggregator, but instead I contribute individual data items, which only become a database on the OSM server. So the OSM database would not be derived from another, ODBL licensed database, and would itself not be subject to the ODBL attribution and share-alike rules.
