I just tried to compile 0.8.4 and found it to be completely unusable for potlatch, the cursor seemed to update once every few seconds making it hard to select anything, I was unable to edit keys and the potlatch user interface had all the wrong dimensions or was rendered offscreen, see screenshot: http://flickr.com/photos/avarab/2942850805/sizes/o/
