The burden of proof is always on those who accuse you of having copied data from Google, so if you act as you describe above, there is no way you would do something that could be constructed as a proof that you copied data. However, the whole thing is a slippery slope, even with the best intentions you could be tempted to move your node just a bit so better fit with Google's roads... so if you can avoid going there in the first place, that would be the thing to do. Google is about the worst thing to use as a "fancy notepad" in this situation.
