This sounds all very much like a storm in a teacup to me. Has it not occurred to anybody that Steve registering the trademark is most likely just a technicality (easier/faster/cheaper/more convenient etc.)? Does anybody here really think that the foundation's chairman would snatch the trademark away from his own organization? I don't doubt for a second that the foundation is the rightful owner of the trademark and things will be sorted in due course.
