Agreed with pieren for the empty-tag-key, but are you sure an empty tag value is forbiden by editors ? if yes or even no, how to correct it on one go on the DB ? then maybe why not enlight them on a validator tool ? ( but in both case a tag to say that is useless ) > > validate:untagged-way > > Again, it's nice if your validator shows untagged ways. But then Same problem, okay with pieren, don't show a problem that a basic analyse can enlight > > validate:deprecated-tags same I don't find your point in recording in the data, things that can be guessed by other means ? > > validate:motorway-without-ref > Same thing : if maplint complains, fix the error by fixing the mistake > in the osm db, not by adding a tag for maplint. If a tag is > deprecated, replace it by the new tag ! There I don't agree with pieren, well at least if I understand it correctly, I'am using this tag also in the internal: namespace , and it is in no way a tag to say that a ref is missing. It is made to say that a road has no ref (or no sign on the road to guess the ref ) -- Sylvain Letuffe [EMAIL PROTECTED] qui suis-je : http://slyserv.dyndns.org _______________________________________________ talk mailing list [email protected] http://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk
