I like the Maplint layer. I can scan an area quite quickly and spot various items that need investigating quite easily. Some items I can fix there and then.
However, it currently relies heavily on Map Features, else it will highlight something as not in Map Features (which makes sense). However, it also highlights approved features that aren't in Map Features yet (in the case I just found the offending tag was at least one of fee=yes or parking=multi-storey on an amenity=parking area). If as has been suggested Map Features is at some point split into Core Features, Other Features and/or Approved Features, could it be done in such a way that all the different options are checked by the Maplint validation or there will be loads more things highlighted that are actually OK that I might waste time checking at intervals.
