my laptop is 1.8GHz with 2GB RAM
or my work machine which is 2.4GHz with 3GB RAM

One tip: make your browser window smaller. Potlatch doesn't much like
very large screens, and does slow noticeably. And make sure you zoom
in if you're editing in a city.
