I'm looking for a gps tracking solution for wildlife monitoring. We're looking to go as low tech as possible, simply a device recording position locally. Position can be recorded every hour, or even every few hours.
The key feature is that the device should be able to theoretically run for months at a time .. so the device would mostly sleep, but periodically wake up to record a position. Any suggestions on data loggers with such a feature?
