Hello everyone, A reminder that the South Hampshire mapping party is happening this weekend (14th/15th), details at
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/index.php/South_Hampshire_Mapping_Party_09 South Hampshire is currently one of the best-mapped areas outside London in the UK, and in particular has very good footpath coverage. However there is one big problem. Many of the streets in Portsmouth and Fareham have been traced from Yahoo!, and are therefore nameless. So do come along and help collect the street names in Portsmouth and Fareham (also Havant if we have time) and help complete the map of the Solent area. Once this is done we will have good map coverage of the entire south Hampshire area. Meeting point the Isambard Kingdom Brunel, central Portsmouth, details on the wiki page.
