There's also the much simpler http://www.openstreetmap.org/stats/data_stats.html that gives you an idea of who contributed most recently, which I like to look at (it updates about 0:15 GMT), you'll notice that some folks individually contribute ridiculous, almost incredible and inhumane amounts of work, and they're there every single day of the year (I estimate positions about 6 and up are individuals, above that are the imports).
