Grant "Firefishy" Slater and Harry Wood decided to enabled embedding data from Wikimedia in the OSM-Wiki. For a start it is on trial to see if there are bugs or protests.
An example: http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Image:Avontuur_railway_map.png In case of identical names pictures stored at OSM-Wiki will override Wikimedia Commons images.
