Dear all, Had a great mapping party in Toronto last weekend but that alone is not worthy of a post to talk. We had a great turn out, two brand new mappers and perfect weather but that too is insufficient for this post to talk. This post is about one mapper and a cool mapping party visualization.
Janusz attended the Toronto mapping party last weekend. He's a doctoral student at University of Toronto on exchange from Germany. As part of his Ph.D. he wears a camera around his neck. It takes a photo every 30 seconds or when the ambient light changes. And he made those photos into a video of the mapping party from his perspective. It is awesome. The mapping party runs from about 0:55 to 4:18 on the video. See the mapping party results and video here. http://weait.com/content/mapping-party Best regards, Richard _______________________________________________ talk mailing list [email protected] http://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk
