If the routes are fairly immutable - ie they're the routes that anyone studying the problem would probably end up with, or wouldn't dispute, then I think it's reasonable to add them to the map. The routes are fixed; they just lack signposting.
If however, they're just the favourite route among several alternatives, then I think you need to mark ones that are signposted on the ground.
