Rendering of SVG is done in browser, the link you sent to me rendered at an appropriate size and very quickly. I suggest trying it in a new profile if you're using firefox, trying it in firefox if you're using internet explorer/safari/chrome or trying it in safari/chrome/konquerer if you're using firefox and a new profile doesn't work.
