Yahoo's resolution inside JOSM depends on the zoom level inside JOSM 
that is active when you click on activating (!) the WMS layer. So if you 
have a scale of 100m in JOSM and click on "WMS -> Yahoo Sat" you get 
higher resolution images opposed to clicking on it with a scale of 1000m
