If the fact is binary (can turn left/can't turn left), then checking is equal to copying, right? It'd definitely help when turning a single Tiger way into a dual carriageway, to be able to use Google Street View rather than finding someone willing to drive me around while I take pictures of every intersection, or, I guess more realistically, just zooming in on the Yahoo aerial and guessing.
