The iPhone is a lifestyle device, not a measuring device. It has a GPS 
receiver in order to display location based opportunities to spend 
money; and for that I guess it's good enough.

Expecting precise GPS measurements from an iPhone is like going 
windsurfing in your Gucci jacket.
