That's a very good point and it leads on to something that I've been meaning to mention for a while: Where boundaries are traced from out-of-copyright sources (e.g. NPE in the UK), and they're actually following another feature (such as a river) it would be extremely useful if the bit of the boundary that follows the river could have a note added to say so.
