Hello, I am one of students who are applying for GSoC this year. My proposal is about creating an easy-to-use POI Collector for android platform. I know that already there are some mapping tools for android platform (like Vespucci or android OSMtracker) with quite big functionality. However I would like to put stress on creating really simple to use tool, which could be used at once even by new OSM users (Newbie editor idea represents same approach). Good example is Mapzen POI Collector for IPhone, it has really good usability and because of that is successful.
